DIY // Citrus Print Party Cloth
I'm calling this project a party cloth because there isn't only one use for it. Could it be a table cloth? Yes. Also a picnic blanket, photo booth backdrop, etc. Let's get to work!
Supplies:
- 1 small bottle orange acrylic paint (what ever shade speaks to you)
- 1 small bottle green acrylic paint
- white twin sheet ( you could always go bigger if need be)
- leaf stamp (found at the craft store)
- 1-2 oranges sliced in half
Directions:
1. Lay the sheet flat on a surface that won't be destroyed by paint or lay a painters cloth down first. You want it to lay flat for ease of stamping.
2. Once you have your cloth laid out, squeeze the paint into a paper plate or paint palette and dip one half of the orange in the paint. Start stamping oranges onto the sheet in a random sort of way.
3. Once you have a good arrangement of oranges stamped on the sheet, pour the green paint into a little dish and start stamping the leaves on random oranges here and there. The trick is to be pretty random with the placement of the oranges. Allow to dry for a few hours before using it. Have fun!
