Weekend Cocktails 11 // Hot Bourbon and Ginger
Happy Friday! This recipe is our take on the classic bourbon and ginger. It's a mix of ginger syrup and bourbon with a splash of hot water to warm you in the winter cold.
The Goods:
Makes 1 drink
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 1.5 boiling water
- 1 tsp. ginger syrup
- 1-2 dashes of bitters
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- candied ginger for garnish
- orange peel
Directions:
Place the rosemary, orange peel, syrup and bourbon in a glass. Pour the boiling water in the glass and give it a little stir. Garnish with a piece of crystalized ginger. Serve hot.
