6th Day of Craftsmas // Minimal Gold Wreath
Wreaths don't always have to be the full green things that we often associate with Christmas decor, While those can be beautiful, we love this minimal wreaths. All it takes is a simple circle made with thick floral wire. We added gold paint to make it a tad more glam.
Supplies:
- Thick floral wire
- thin gold wire
- real foraged leaves or fake ones from the craft store
- metallic gold paint
- wire cutters
- paintbrush
- ribbon
Directions:
1. Form the thick wire into a circle approx. one foot in diameter.
2. Paint both the wire circle and the leaves including their branches. Allow to dry completely.
3. Wire the leaves with the thin gauge wire to the bottom of the wire circle. This can be accomplished by simply twisting the wire around the branches holding the leaves.
4. Tie a bow around the top of the wreath and hang it anywhere.
