Classic Vodka Martini // Weekend Cocktails No. 18

This is a classic vodka martini with a twist. It's strong, crisp, and very classy. We recently had a birthday party for Megan and it involved vodka martinis and an oyster roast. It was amazing. If you plan on serving this drink at a party, you'll want someone to be the bar keeper, as you do have to make every drink individually.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1/2 oz dry vermouth

2 oz vodka

Lemon peel

Ice

Directions:

In a chilled martini glass, add the vermouth and briefly swirl it around in the glass and then toss it out. Add the vodka to shaker with some ice and either shake or stir until cold. Pour through the strainer into the glass and then garnish with the lemon peel. Drink and enjoy!
