DIY // Vintage Copper Jelly Mold Light
This DIY honestly couldn't be easier. I finished it within 5 minutes. As long as you have a jelly mold, spade bit, and a cord kit, you're golden. I plan to put mine in some small corner of my house that needs a bit of light. It's the perfect blend of vintage and minimalism.
Supplies:
- 1 cord kit with light bulb ( this is from IKEA)
- 1 electric drill
- 1 3/4" spade or paddle bit
- 1 vintage jelly mold ( I got mine from my grandma)
Directions:
1. Using the spade bit on your electric drill, find the center of the mold (should be pretty easy to find) and drill a clean hole all the way through it. Be sure that the hole is slightly smaller than your cord kit.
2. Place the cord kit through the hole and screw in the lightbulb. That's it!
