Around The House // Vintage Treasures
My Grandma and Grandpa used to be serious world travelers. Lucky for me, they brought treasures back with them from all of their journeys. Growing up I used to stare at them on their shelves. Of course wanting to touch them and play with them, and, of course not being allowed to. Now that I'm older, I get to have them in my house! Here is a round up of my favorite items.
Carved wooden vase, probably from Thailand. I can see myself using this for a rustic bouquet of branches or something of the like.
This small bouquet of wooden flowers would be cute on my end table.
Small hanging baskets. I will likely put some succulents in these and hang them.
This is actually a canteen which I find to be very cool. I will probably put it on a shelf with some books. I really like the colors on this and the detail of the carvings.
I am not sure what these bookends are made of. Some kind of stone I think. They are very heavy. I love that they look like cacti.
A large carved wooden vase. Can't have too many wooden vases I guess ;)
This parasol is so gorgeous. It has these sweet little birds painted on it. I think it's from Thailand as well.
Wooden pitcher with goblets which I will just put on a shelf or on the mantle. I love how the wood is so smooth and shiny and the shape of the pitcher is so unique.
