Eating In // Spicy Cilantro Lime Shrimp

The Goods:

Serves 10 

  • 2 lbs, peeled, deveined shrimp 
  • 3 limes, juiced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Siracha sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1/3 cup grapeseed oil or olive oil 
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp. cumin 
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

1. For the marinade, squeeze the limes into a big bowl and the add all of the other ingredients except the shrimp. Give all of the ingredients a good whisking and then add the shrimp. Let it marinade for 30 minutes to an hour. 

2. Turn the broil on your oven and move the rack up to the top. Pour the shrimp onto a sheet pan ( try not to get too much marinade on the pan). Broil the shrimp for 5-7 minutes or until they are pink and shaped like a "c". Serve at room temperature.
