Around the House // Spring Potted Plants
Having plants around the inside and outside of your house is one of the greatest pleasures of life. For Mother's Day, we helped my mom plant flowers for her deck. It was a great activity to do as a family and she shared some planting wisdom along the way. Honestly, planting plants couldn't be easier. Get some good potting soil, plants, and some pots with good drainage. When you plant the plants, dig a hole, break up the root system of the plant and cover it with dirt. Be sure to give it a good watering afterwards. At my parents house in Charlotte these plants will last from May to the first frost.
